The one I purchased and installed lasted a little over 2 years ... but, I just ordered another one. For 18 dollars it beats the dealer price for an original equipment one.Hopefully I will have a new truck before this one stops working.On the bright side simple installation, with youtube videos available if you need one.

I bought this from the SwitchDoctor web site on a Friday at 6PM. I received tracking info on Saturday. Nice surprise. The switch arrived on Monday. Why at their site? I couldn't find it here, my 'net connection was acting up. Same price here or there.Perfect fit. :) The window left/right rocker looks a little different and I like the "feel" of the driver's window switch on the old unit better. Hey, new switch... not a problem, I won't notice a difference in a couple of weeks.My window lock switch was bad. I could work the windows from the driver's door but not on the individual doors. I found this product before I discovered you can run a jumper from the tan wire on the large connection to the yellow wire in the small connection. No need to take the door apart, just pry the switch assembly out with your finger tips. I hate taking car doors apart.Their site says "Your aftermarket switch is fully covered while you own it.". Which is great. I'm prepped.... I just turned 60 and I plan on keeping this truck for 20 years, aka until I move to the nursing home. if they don't have my switch available ten years from now, I have my old switch /and/ I know how to bypass the window lock button.Buy this. The hardest part about this purchase is waiting for delivery and prying the assembly out of the door.

I had been dealing with the window lock button not working for years, however, when I rolled all the windows down one day and only 3 of them would go back up, I knew it was time to replace the switch. My wife works at a dealership and I normally get OEM parts, but when I priced the OEM at $150, I decided, to give after market a try. I looked at switches ranging from $21 to $50. I read several reviews on all of them as I am sure you are doing now. So here is the scoop:The switch arrived, it took me maybe 10 minutes to install, and it works great. Received in one day, in a padded envelope, inside the envelope the switch was in a box and protected. Install was a perfect fit, used all original screws and did not have to modify in any way. The switch is slightly different in feel when pressing the buttons, but not in a negative or positive way, just different.Now I do recommend if you are replacing this switch that you, A) Either order a bezel too, or B) Take the entire door panel off, so you don't break the tabs on the bezel. I had replaced my bezel a few months ago, so I already was prepared to deal with the tabs. This is the one I ordered and it also was perfect match. Perfect fit and works great. I was a little hesitant buying a non-oem product but at $75, which is half the cost of the dealers price, I couldn't pass up the deal. I was having a problem with all passenger windows not able to operate the window, only the master worked. It appeared to be an issue with the lock button. This fixed the problem and was a quick install. The product was shipped very quickly from Switch Doctor, I would recommend them anytime!UPDATE: After driving my truck at night, I noticed the lighting in this master switch is brighter than the OEM switch which is great since I could barely see the old switch at night or even low light conditions. Again, I am glad I purchased it!

After reading online, I concluded that the reason none of my door switches worked was because the master switch window lock had shorted, thus, locking all the windows except from the drivers door.I bought this $25 replacement (verses over $100 from the auto store) and it works perfectly. Lights are bright. Switches are crisp. And most importantly, it works as it should.

Great part.....fixed my issue.....must have been a failure in my old control because only drivers the door would put all windows down but this did the job. All window controls on all doors now work great. The issue was with the window lock button on the old panel causing all the others to not work whether it was depressed or released.

Works perfect. Easy install. Pry up the plastic window switch bezel surrounding the switch with a plastic interior tool or your fingers. The bezel is attached to the switch so they come out together. Then un-clip the 2 wiring connectors from the switch. Unscrew the 3 phillips screws that attach the bezel to the switch, and attach the new switch to the bezel. Connect the 2 wiring connectors and place the switch and bezel into the door panel. The whole process took less than 5 minutes and the controls work as they should.

well again on my newer Truck 2003 Dodge Ram SLT 2wd my passenger window would only go down when using the master window switch so I replace the passenger switch which still didn't work so I replace the Master window switch or power switch and they both work great so many replacement on this truck their are more stuff that needs replacing like the air vent , the rear cap hinges and so forth

I've had this switch for about 5 months. I haven't had any problems with the product.I'll go over the things I like and don't like.-I really love the price. I was leary. A new OEM factory set cost $180+. A used one from the junk yard was $80 (with no guarantee it will work or refund).- Product was new- Product was guaranteed- It works- It lights up like the origanal.The only things I don't like is- The buttons are a little stiff- The buttons have sharper edgesBut all and all for the price I'm all in. If my passenger switch goes out I'll be going to the switch Dr.

Perfect fit and color. Easy to instal. You will need to reuse the screws out of the old one so don't throw them away. The wiring will only go on one way and has a locking tab. Attach it to the bezel before snapping it into place.

This went in perfectly. Less than five minutes and it was switched out with my old one. It looks just like the one it came with originally. I had to buy this for the second time though. I purchased one of these in April of 2018. It worked well until a couple weeks ago. The driver's side front window stopped working properly and a few days ago, it completely quit working. However, these switches are much cheaper that the ones you would buy from Dodge or some of the local auto parts stores. So, I can certainly justify buying another to replace the one I bought about a year ago. I hope this one lasts longer than a year. I will update once the year mark passes... if I remember.

This drivers door switch control module, is from my stand point of view, far better than what is out there on the after market shelf.Before I had purchased this switch control module, I had purchased locally, a new switch module from Merle's Auto Parts (At a much higher price), which did Not operate correctly. Same type of switch module from Merle's Auto, as the switch module I had purchased from Switch Doctor.

My back windows would not work except by the drivers side, so finally I broke down and decided to attempt to replace the master switch. I didn't want to invest a ton of money in my theory. This master switch was delivered quickly, the switch was easy to replace, and now all is well and works as it should. I am happy with this product. My driver's door window would not go down automatically, even though it was supposed to. I figured it was probably the switch, and it was. To replace the switch, you have to remove the door panel, so I waited until I was going to replace my regular mirrors with tow mirrors. I had to take the panel off for them anyway, so I killed two birds with one stone and only had to pull it off once.Now my window goes down just like it's supposed to (and I can see behind my trailer, too) so it was a worthwhile project. Just for grins and giggles, price the same switch at the dealer's parts counter and see what they want for it!

My Master Switch was not working my rear windows. I could lower them without a problem, getting them back up was the issue. This replacement works like a charm. Bought this to replace the original 02 model. Installed in 30 secs, works perfect! I had an issue with the passenger rear window not going up (went down just fine), after switching around the two back door switches, and having the same issue with the good switch, I knew it was either the wiring or the master switch. This is a great product and way easier to install than I thought it might be. It just plugged in to the electric and snapped in to the arm rest which was super easy since my old ones were broken. I even forgot that the tops of the switches were supposed to light up. They look great.The only problem I am having is the mirror adjust switch for the left side does not snap down anymore. If you hold it down, you can still adjust the mirrors but it won't stay down anymore. That is the reason for four stars instead of five, but I still think this is a great product.

For me i think it works great. The switch for the mirror selection for going back and forth between left and right is a little finicky, half to push it a little harder. But I really don’t use that a whole lot. The window buttons work great though. No problems at all. It has been installed for about 6 months now and no problems at all. Would definitely recommend especially since OEM ones are a couple hundred bucks.

If you are having issues with certain windows not working right and only sometimes, change out the master switch and things may start to work again. The buttons click a little harder than stock and stays lit green even when the lights are not on. Must be wired that way now. Have to see how long the bulb last in it since its on all the time.

All of the switches work, however the driver side front on mine tends to stick sometimes when I use the auto roll down. It doesn't release sometimes until I flip the switch a couple of times then it allows me to roll the window back up.

We were having window and door problems on our 02 Dodge 1500. We decided to try replacing the console so we ordered this. The part "felt" a little cheaper than the original OEM, but it installed and works perfectly. It solved our electrical issues and looks fine. So far no issues. If you're having electrical issues in your Dodge this is a cheap fix.

Ordered a new club cab / 2 door switch from some other 3rd party and the mirror directions were reversed which was a common complaint in the reviews. I got one that was reversed and irritated me every time we changed drivers. I sent it back after 1 day. Have replaced a couple switches over the years with SWITCHDOCTOR switches so I ordered this knowing that it was for the 4 door models and quick modification took me about 90 seconds. I removed the 2 rear window switches by using regular pliers and rotating the switch 90 degrees and popping the switch out of their little rockers. It mounts right up to the 2 door / club cab bezel once the 2 rear switches have been removed. Electrical was not an issue because they used the same harnesses and plugs - snaps right together and the extra connectors just aren't used in the harness. L/R directions are correct and door and window locks, and both my window controls work like new. Replaced my switch because the OEM window lock failed and the driver was the only one that could operate the passenger window. Now the passenger has their window controls back. Snapping off the 2 rear switches and it is plug and play right under the 2 door bezel and looks like OEM factory.

My truck (2006 Ram 2500) had this awesome personality trait of letting me roll down the driver's side window, but, depending on her mood, would only sometimes go up. This led to continual feelings of anxiety every time I put it down because I was afraid it wouldn't go back up. To the point where I had just decided to live with it. With the warm weather approaching I vowed to fix this issue but didn't want to spend $$$ on an OEM master switch so I figured I'd try this out. Great fit and it fixed my issue; my window goes down AND back up. I wish I would've done it sooner.

None of the window controllers (except for the driver's door) in my 2003 Ram have worked in 15 years. I always assumed the passenger door panel was bad, but it's actually common for the WDD (window and door lock-out) button on the driver's door panel to go bad due to a poor quality soldering job. Far easier than trying to fix it was to just buy this panel and replace it. Once you know that the panel just pops out, it's an easy 5-minute job to swap these out!And this one even has a faint glow at night so you can see the controls - I don't remember the original one doing that.Awesome deal!Hope this helps!

For years my front seat passenger window could only be operated by the driver's control panel. Once I learned that replacing this switch panel might restore function to the passenger switch (passenger switch receives power from the driver's switch panel) I ordered this. Can't beat the price. It installed easily, works perfectly and now the passenger side switch works also. My only hesitation in rating this item 5 stars is durability. I have no way of knowing how long it might hold up. It's only been a couple months. But for the money, I'd highly recommend it. And yes, there is a green LED visible at night to show the switch locations.

It only takes a few minutes to install if you've done it before. If not, check online for a video or tutorial so you don't accidentally break the trim piece. I already had the old switch removed, so replacement for me was a matter of about two minutes. It worked perfectly. Tested again today during a drive, and still working fine.I'll update if anything changes.

It was a better than original replacement for my light switch. The problem was the window lock, which was potentially fixable but I didn't want to bother with the extra time to try and do so, and for the cost, well, problem free new switch was a no brainer. I was not expecting the light up diodes in the switches, which were not part of the OEM part I replaced.

Shipper was on time, product was a match, popped out old one, 4 screws, plugged in wires, window rolled down, now just need to order the back door jam harness that have broken and will be good as new, will post if this fails but so far working, lowest priced one, didn't want to "get what you pay for" but there probably all from same manufacturer!

One day on my 2002 Dodge Ram Sport, no one else could roll their window's up or down in the truck. But I could still control everything from the master switches. Great product. Plug and play. 3 small screws hold the trim bezel. If you are careful, you can reuse your original bezel. Solved both of my problems. Both drivers and passenger windows now work perfectly.

Have a 2002 Dodge Ram 4 door and it worked perfectly.Plugged it in and all buttons worked. You have to reuse the 3 screws from the old switch to mount the plate on it. Plugs are correct and even matched the clips to hold the plugs in place. Great value compared to the one i looked at the first of the year on Switch Doctor.

The right rear window quit working. I did my best diagnosis on the system and ordered this part. Still not working. So I swapped the left door switch into the right rear door - it worked. I ordered a door switch from The Switch Doctor. The door switch was less than this master switch, so they refunded me the difference and sent me the new door switch even before I returned this switch. They are great!!

The switch panel fit fits, looks, and works good. Looks like new. I recently bought the truck used. Installed this switch panel and found small lights or indicators in the tip of each window switch. Nice touch. The old one either didn't have them or they just didn't work.

Ordered it to my home north of the medicine line via the postal system.Item arrived in a timely manner with no additional costs incurred.Honestly I installed the switch while I was waiting for my wife to go grocery shopping - figured I'd start to take a look to see how much time it'd take - popped the stock switch out of the door, unplugged it.Took it inside to the bench, removed 3 screws and installed replacement switch into factory backer plate with same 3 screws.Went back to truck- plugged in and then pushed the backer plate into place.Tested - functions perfectly......Oh - it's lit up and the original wasn't so I like that better.IF every repair was this easy!!!
