No directions, was kind of clueless how to remove the old switch, but you literally just have to pull it apart!It definitely looks different than OEM, but this fixed my condition of : WINDOW ONLY ROLLS DOWN, WILL NOT ROLL BACK UP, MOTOR WORKS,if you're having issues with your windows rolling up but not rolling down, vice versa then this might be your fix. Cheaper than throwing money at a new window motor/ regulator thinking that that would be the cause

This part was a direct replacement for an original equipment switch on my 2001 mustang. The part works flawlessly, much cheaper than the replacement ones available from the specialty retailers. Time will tell, but I have no reason to doubt that this part will continue to function flawlessly for a long time.
