My electric rear windows in my car wouldn't go up and down. The dealer told me I needed new window motors.I left the rear windows closed. Then, a front window got stuck in the middle.My local car guy diagnosed that it was the master window control, not the individual window motors. I came on Switch Doctor just to see if they offered it... and found the switch in the Switch Doctor marketplace.All my car windows go up and down now! The price was exceptionally reasonable considering what the dealer wanted for a replacement part. I am always amazed at how many different products Switch Doctor carries! I do recommend the vendor... Switch Doctor. Quick shipping and a great product at a great price. :)

Let's face it: If you are still driving a 1997 Corolla you probably have bottom-feeder tendencies and don't want to spend $300 on a door switch. I had already replaced part 514153 in 2008 with a used part that probably cost about $100--and that seemed like a good deal at the time.So this part is a fantastic deal, even if it only last a couple of years. I'll just buy another one.It seems odd that the seller did not bother giving the part number since, for all we know, different models use different parts. Others mentioned having to make a small adaptation, so maybe there are a few subtle differences.The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is that Switch Doctor said that it was in stock, then said it had shopped on a Saturday. Then I heard it had not shipped but would ship Wednesday. On Thursday, after prodding, they said the part was in. But it did not ship until the following Saturday, and I got it Tuesday, But I have it now, its in, and it works.

I bought this switch b/c my original toyota switch broke. This one looks just like it & was easy to install. However, the automatic part of the switch of the driver window does not work. No biggie, as I am too lazy to send it back for another one. Plus, all I have to do is hold the button down just like I do with the other buttons to roll down the other windows. And it works just fine. It might be a little louder when rolling down the windows than my original one but it is not bothersome.The company sent me my order quickly & my order was accurate.

This was exactly the switch we needed and worked like a charm.I would have left 5 stars but they were out of stock and I had to wait an extra 10 days or so.Once it got here...no problems.

May have taken me 5 minutes to install, if that. Very easy. Bought for 1997 Corolla. Just make sure your Corolla was made in the US (Japan-made ones have a VIN number starting with "J"). The US ones are more common, but when I searched for replacement switches, the ones made for Japan-made cars seemed more common. A visual difference is that the window-lock square button next to the all-lock/all-unlock tall toggle switch is centered on US made cars and is aligned with the bottom of that toggle on the Japan-made cars. This one is centered and fit my US made car perfectly.

I made the mistake of buying Master Control Power Window Switches from vendors with lower prices; that was dumb.They either didn't fit or didn't work, despite saying they would for a 1997 Corolla. So it was with some care that I reviewed other vendors who stated they had the Master Control for the year / model of my vehicle. And trepadation - would I receive another bum switch? My part arrived and fit perfectly, installed with ease and now all 4 power windows work - Switchdoctor lives up to it's name, thank you.
