I bought this used truck in January this year (2012 Chevy 2500 HD), right away I realized that I had to use the remote to lock the truck as the button on the door would not lock it. A couple months later I noticed that the drivers window button would sometimes work and sometimes it wouldn't. Shortly after that the button on the passenger door started working intermittently. I looked on Switch Doctor and there were many choices but I chose the ones with the best reviews.Today they arrived (one was ahead of schedule) I watched a short video on YouTube to see how to change them without tearing up my door panel. I went out the and less than 15 minutes later I was walking back in the house with all of the new switches installed. They all work perfectly! I would highly recommend these to anyone having issues with window and lock switches.

As noted in the title, this fits perfectly. All functions work as intended. Installation is easy although a little tricky to unhook the wires (kind of like you need three hands) but that is not a function of this unit - just noting it can be a little tricky. The quality feels a little lighter than the OEM but for the price, I say give it a go. I'm pleased.

i have replaced a bunch of these on my chevy's it's a common thing to go bad, this works just as good as factory except you don't pay the high price. it's very simple unplug and plug in new one just use a straight screw driver to gently pry up on door panel switch cover and swap out.

I could not roll up the rear windows with their own switches and it was intermittent if I could get them to go up with the front driver side so I ordered this and it fixed it. I found videos on youtube with instructions to replace so it was rather easy. Also.. fixed my rear switches and my original one because I found a video showing how to clean the contacts on youtube; so really didn't need this part but just in case cleaning the contacts is a short term at least my front drivers side should work.

Internal lights are brighter than stock, all functions work perfectly.Purchased to test and troubleshoot a limited-working stock window switch in a 2012 Silverado crew.Prior to replacement I used some contact cleaner spray on the wiring harness just in case.

My truck eats these like candy. I don’t think it’s the fault of this product, as I have purchased them from multiple vendors. It is a perfectly functioning product that fits into the factory location like it should. Again, if there is any fault, I believe it is in the original design. Mine last a year or so

Careful of the plastic tabs.

The switch works great but it took an hour to snap it in place because there were some small plastic tabs on the sides that were preventing the switch from being pushed high enough to lock it in place. Once I figured out what was wrong I cut off the tabs and it snapped in properly.

Ordered on Monday, got it Wednesday, took all of about 10 minutes from start to finish. I held the original one up to the new one and you can't tell the difference except the new one has their name on it. It's a door switch, don't overthink it, save a few bucks because my dealership told me they wanted $87 and some change for one. I got this because my windows would only work if I was really aggressive in pushing on them. Swapped this new one in and now I can push the buttons like a regular person. So if this is what's happing to you, this is your quick, plug n play, easy fix. It also comes with a warranty if you contact them directly so save the paper that comes with it.

It is exactly like the original unit. The longest and most difficult part of the install was finding my socket wrench extension in the garage. I watched the install video to see how to remove the door handle. Thought I was stuck with non working window controls, punishment for having on more than one occasion over the last ten years having left my window down in the rain. Didn’t know it would only take $15 and five minutes to make me feel like I have a new truck again.

I own a 2010 Chevy Silverado. My window switch for the passenger side was not working correctly - I would have to tap it multiple times to get it working. I saw this 3rd party window switch on Switch Doctor and decided to give it a shot.Took me literally 5 mins to replace the window switch. All you need is a wrench set to remove the handle and the platform that houses the switches/lock switches. Once this platform is removed, you loosen 2 pieces of wiring clips to replace the window switch. Once complete, you assemble everything back to its original state.Been a few weeks since I switched mine out and it has been working flawlessly!

Bought for my moms 2011 Chevy Silverado. Windows weren’t working too well and sometimes didn’t go back up. These switchdoctors have a video to go by. Repaliced the switch panel with just a 10mm socket, extension, ratchet, and a flat head screw driver. Fit like a glove and fixed the problem. Super easy to install I was done in under 5 min. I was sketchy about buying it beciause I thought the picture look used but my part was brand new and came in a box and in a closed plastic bag inside that box. Over great product and can’t beat the price for it!!! Well worked for me!!

I installed this the day after Father’s Day, 2020...has worked flawlessly since. Hardest part of installing was you almost need two people so you don’t break the tabs off the wiring harness. But I was able to manage by myself. I watched a video on YouTube and that was all I needed. Took me literally 10 minutes from start to finish.

This thing works as it should. I'll always read why people give it a 1*. I have no complaints with this. Looks factory. All the buttons work as they should. EXTREMELY EASY TO INSTALL!!! 3 minutes tops. Took me longer to walk from my second floor apartment to the parking lot than it did to install it. All you need is a 10mm socket, ratchet, medium extension and any kind of knife to pull trim off. I looked up a clip on YouTube. Before everything is back together, make sure the switch works after plugging the new on in. Nothing worse than taking it apart again to return it. I would recommend.

Took a 10mm wrench to remove two screws holding the handle cover. Once the cover was removed, popped off the handle and control housing out of the arm rest. Checked to see if the connections appeared correct, they looked okay. Unplugged the two control wires. "pried" the plastic clips holding the old controller, plugged the wires in the new controller and tested all functions, everything worked. So I reversed the disassembly procedure....total time 15 minutes.

Purchased for a 13 silverado crew cab. Arrived when it should have and was as described. Windows all work however when child locking the windows they will lock as they should unless the rear window button is being held while the driver is holding with drivers controls. Kind of a bypass.

Would be a 5 star review if the switch fit just a little better. The switch itself works great fixed my issues with the other windows not going down and or up. But the switch does have a little wiggle room when clicked in all the way not going to notice most likely unless you pay attention to it.

Good alternative to ACDelco. Buttons are a little more stiff, but work well. Simple install as well, just pop the handle cover off, 2- 10mm bolts, and then pop the switch off. 4 tabs hold it in and two wires. Simple as that!

I found this switch after discovering the OEM part has been discontinued by manufacturer. I bought a used truck and found the drivers window would go down, but not up again… fun. I found a YouTube video on how to remove and replace the window switch with this part and it took me less than 15 minutes. It seriously took me longer to find a 3” extension than it did to replace and be done with the switch. Easy enough and will probably last the life of this truck.

Bought this master switch for my 2010 Chevy Silverado to replace the original that was failing on the passenger side. Not an easy install but the product itself works great. Fits my 2013 Chevy Traverse driver’s side. If you didn’t know, Chevy made it nearly impossible to take the door panels off of their cars/trucks without breaking something. It took me around 4 hours working very gently trying not to breka the fasteners that go along the door panel and I still broke 3 of them. Again, product works great once you get the panel off but it is not easy for a rookie.

I was having a problem with my power windows not rolling up and down, took the oem switch assembly out a while back to clean the contacts and that fixed the problem for a while but eventually started messing up again. I bought this switch assembly to replace my factory one and it fits and feels exactly like the factory. It works flawlessly in my 2011 Silverado.

Got this in 3 days and it took about 10 minutes to replace. If you're not sure how to do it, there's probably a video on you tube or something. I used a cut up credit card to hold the tabs open on one side while releasing the other. This is a really good deal for 15 bucks. It fit perfectly and is working fine.

A year ago I was able to take apart the OEM unit to clean the membrane because the passenger side window button would not raise the window. The problem started again so for an incredible price I replaced it. The only difference was the printed part number and name. Sorry no pictures.

The switch was an exact fit and worked perfectly. After a quick test with a multimeter, I knew the switch was bad and bought them on Switch Doctor for far less than the dealer. The parts fit perfectly and my windows are not operating like new.

This was to replace the original Driver Window Master Switch in a 2011 Chevy Traverse, which for the last 2 years was only controlling the driver window up/down and rear passenger side down only. The installation is very easy, and no, you do not need to take the entire door panel off, just pop-up the window control panel, installs in minutes (find Youtube vid for how to remove the white plastic clip if you cannot figure it out). This replacement has only been in use for 6 days ago, if problems occur I will update comments. And SwitchDoctor ships quickly.

Disconect the battery, remove two torque screws, pull out, unplug and unsnap the old switch and install the new one. 15 minutes and done. Easy job on my hhr, works good.No need to remove the whole door panel. j

For the price you truly can’t beat it. Defiantly deserves 5 stars. This new switch was easy to install and solved the problem I've been driving around with for over a year not being able to roll down the passenger window which is kind of important today and when people want to hand you stuff for takeout and the other side of the vehicle! Part was great It's a little tough to install You need like four screwdrivers and three hands but you'll figure it out. The switch does have the push the driver window down once and it rolls down complete I saw one complaint that the part didn't have that feature but that was false for me.

This unit worked perfect. Took about five mins to install. all I needed was a 10mm socket and a flat blade screwdriver to pop off a trim piece on handle. So nice to be able to lower my passenger side window from the driverside.

I received my master switch assembly right on time. There was very little difficulty switching the old and the new assemblies. The lights on the new assembly are much brighter and the lights were on the old assembly. This is my second switch I bought for my truck. The first I got from ebay and it lasted about a week until it broke. This one seems to be made well. The springs under the switch seem firm and not cheaply made like the one I got from ebay. Only time will tell how long this one lasts. So far it's been about 3 weeks and it works fine.

Buy this switch. It comes with a lifetime guarantee and is GREAT.The package arrived quickly. I opened the package, took it too my truck and installed it. It took me maybe 10 minutes. The only thing that is tricky was removing four side clips. You will need a #10 metric socket to remove the handle bolts.After the old one was removed, the new one snapped in place. I plugged the wires in, remounted the handle and that was it. Ready to go.Go to Youtube and search, "How To Replace Master Power Window Switch 07-13 Chevy Silverado" My truck is a 2011.This part saved me a lot of money. The Chev. dealer was way over $100.00. Good Luck...

Get serious on how easy this switch is to install yet Chevy wanted a few hundred. It literally took me less than 2 minutes in remove the bad one and install this new one. if you don't know how, google for a video on how to. Switch works great.

Worked amazing been having issues with the passenger side window only some of the time working unless you hold ya mouth just right then it would think about workin. Wife bought me this and I was ecstatic cause it works like it’s supposed to every time to bout 60 to peel the switch Mount off undo the old one and pull the plugs out and vice versa to put it back together
