After shopping around for a switch for the window on my 98 4Runner and deciding I’d never be able to roll my drivers side window down again (dealer & auto parts stores wanted $300-$400 for a switch), I decided to shop eBay & found the part for $19. I was so happy I forgot to check where the part was coming from....CHINA! Needless to say, it was a complete waste of money! Not only did it not work, it didn’t even fit. I finally got the bright idea to shop Switch Doctor. WOW! Am I glad I did! The switch was only $26 & arrived in less than 48 hours and took less than 5 minutes to install!! And best part? It fits and WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!!!! Big thanks!!!!

This switch is $100-$200 from other aftermarket vendors. I was very worried this switch wasn’t going to work on my 98 4runner, or it was labeled wrong. Well, I was wrong. It’s figment is perfect, connector connects tightly and it works my windows. I will update my review when longevity is tested.

Couldn't have been easier. My Four Runner driver window switch on the master control finally had enough after 20 years. I ordered this part on a Thursday night as a replacement, received it on Saturday morning and had it installed and functioning by noon.To install:1) Pull up gently on the front end of the plastic cover above the mirror control.2) Slide the plastic unit forward releasing the back, pulling up softly and out of the door handle enough to access wires.3) Use a screw driver to release the locking anchors on the 2 wire connectors. Detach wires.4) Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 3 screws holding the switch in place.5) Replace old switch with new switch, reinstall 3 anchor screws, reinstall 2 wire clips, slide into door back-end first and done!

Amazing! The driver side window in my 1998 Toyota 4Runner was not working and it was due to a faulty master switch. Dealer wanted $500+ for this part. Installation took 10 minutes and it works perfectly. Amazing product at an amazing price!!!

The window lock button thing (right of the master door lock) gets stuck pretty easy therefore you can’t roll down the windows until you pull it up

I was looking for a master window switch as the original had broken and my driver side window wouldn't go down. I went to autoparts stores who wanted to charge about 450 for this part so I searched the internet/Switch Doctor for better deals and boy I tell I'm not disappointed at all. EXCELLENT price, easy to install, works as a charm and mind you, I have a Toyota Hilux 2002, and it fits.

Very easy to install, only needed a Phillips head and a flathead screwdriver and less than ten minutes. My 14 year old grandson could have done it.

The Master Window Control Unit for my 1998 4Runner LTD works perfectly after installation, as advertised. I ordered this unit because the original plastic button on my Control unit was broken, and with a $435 quote from Toyota and $275 from Advanced Auto Parts, I decided to "gamble" if you will, on this. I work at a location where I open the driver side window at least 4 times in a day to show an ID card. And, not much to lose at $55. Boy! Am I glad I did! I had bad experiences with other vendors selling stuff on Switch Doctor for different items. Not this one. I highly recommend this product from this vendor.

Plain and simple, my module went out on Tuesday, which left my driver side window down. Ordered it, and got it on Friday. Literally took me 3 minutes to swap out the old for the new and “Presto Change-o” all windows we were operating flawlessly.
