Just bought it for my 1998 ml320. In terms of fitment, its perfect. My only complain is that the child window lock button popped right off upon testing. Not the end of the world, but the reason it was not 5 stars.

The cheapest I could find in the UK was £100, got the ML switch pack from the Staes for £56 and it arrived in 8 days. Brilliant.Oh and although it said Mercedes 320, it fits all 163 type Mercs.

before paying big bucks for an oem switch go for this one.I broke one switch of my ml320 and for my surprise you have to replace the whole thing... i bought this one because was cheaper LOL and guess what? works just like the originaL, FITMENT IS PERFECT, EVERYTHING WORKS JUST RIGHT!!!

I can't remember the last time I bought oem...being an ex-mechanic. This switch works perfectly. It doesn't feel cheap and all functions work fine. Save your money and buy this switch if you need to replace your old one.

The ML320 switch problem seems to be a bit of a problem in every (98-01) ML320 I have ever owned...my personal ML320 and my father's ML320 both have switch problems and believe it that this was the best use of 30-something bucks I have ever spent. Install is quick and easy, World Mechanics on youtube has perfect install guides for this job.Once we finished the job the old side view mirror motors actually started to work again which we have not been able to use for a very long time.I would highly recommend these pieces for anyone with similar problems with their current window switch units!

Shipped and arrived as promised. No delays or problems.Independent shop wanted $300.00 and the dealer was even more.Took me less than twenty minutes to install and ten of that was just being careful in uncharted waters.MB factory part was made in Mexico. Did not find country of origin on this switch but looks like a twin.If you are having switch problems give this a try and save a lot of money.Plenty of tutorials on Internet to help.

While I could have tried to bend the contacts back on the faulty original window switch, I didn't have the time or patience. This panel went in with no surprises and little labour, and all the switches appear to work fine. As apparently the original switch contacts are a bad design from Mercedes, I expect that this too will be prone to failure over the course of a few years, so hopefully they will be available for years to come.

My mother has a Mercedes Benz ML320, and after a previous repair from an auto repair shop, the center console control panel collapsed. The Two forward screw fittings broke on the OEM panel.I purchased the SWITCHDOCTOR Window Master Switch for 1998-2003 Mercedes Benz ML320 and it fit perfectly! All I needed to do is unscrew and remove the OEM panel and disconnect the wire connectors, and replace with the SWITCHDOCTOR Window Master Switch for 1998-2003 Mercedes Benz ML320.My mom was excited because after I also replaced some fuses for the window units, the car windows work properly with a brand new looking panel. The OEM panel labeling was getting worn off, so this totally refreshed the console.The switches are a bit more "clicky" and tight compared to the OEM, and the Mirror adjustment controls are a bit more tight. Other than that, it was basically plug and play!

I work on all my cars and motorcycles so for the most part an inexpensive part is just that. Except for this switch replacement, this is a quality part and an amazing value!!It took less than 10 minutes to replace on my ML320. The process is simple, unscrew 2 bolts holding the console storage "bucket" and remove, pop the gear shift cover off with your fingers, use a body moulding tool or a wide and THIN screwdriver to work the wood paneling loose to remove. The only trick to this is you should put the parking brake ON to move the gear selector to N to take the wood placard out and gain access to the switch. Put back in P when you've removed it. The one component I could not detach was the cigarette lighter cable so had limited range of motion. I loosened the 4 tiny bolts holding the switches in place and then released the clips to remove. Label the wires you unclip to ensure you put them back correctly. Remove the old and non-functioning switches and snap in the new one. Install is the reverse.Work slowly with the wood console cover, I can see margin for error and breaking it. Be sure to keep the key in the off position and gear selector in P. All this advice is from a competent shade tree mechanic, I'm not a pro. There are YouTube videos on how to do. Mechanical skills required to do yourself are bare minimum.Again, this switch is a quality replacement part that I would say look no farther unless you want to drop hundreds more at the dealership. The mirrors worked, all windows as well, and the lighting at night. I am very thankful for the manufacturing company who made such a smooth operating replacement at a very reasonable cost. Don't think twice, buy now.

Was swapping broken toggle (most frequent cause of window not working) around on these units to keep my mother's M-Class driver's side window operating. Switch Doctor's price was very reasonable so now, instead of tearing the unit apart and putting it back together (still having inoperative windows) I purchase the entire assembly. Good quality. No issues thus far...mom does love her drive-throughs...so window switch is constantly in use :).

Due to a spill of two of drinks over time the driver's side window stopped working. This saved us a ton of money by doing it myself. YouTube video was able to give me enough info on how to remove the old one. Was actually pretty darn easy.

Fast delivery, reasonably priced as compared to OEM. Item fit properly and installed easily. My major complaint is the mirror control. Upon initial installation the control was stiff and unresponsive. After much wiggling, jiggling and cajoling, I was finally able to move the mirrors into a usable (maybe permanent) position. A very frustrating exercise. Additionally the mirror knob is not well secured on the shaft and easily falls (flies) off. To remedy the knob issue, I secured it with a drop of super glue. So far, so good.In retrospect, I believe I should have went with the Dorman 901-573 sold elsewhere. I have had good luck with their parts on other vehicles. Time will tell if I need to replace this one with the Dorman.

Great price and much cheaper than dealer. P/S window switch was broken, and this solved the problem. Installation wasn't too bad, once I figured it out. I would have given five stars but the switch doctor website didn't have instructions (despite what the Switch Doctor description stated), I called them and he told me to look at YouTube videos. Once I did that it was ok. I recommend using four small screws in the tabs to hold it in. Mine in the ML430 didn't have them, it just relied on snap tabs to hold it in, which wouldn't hold my new one in.

Replaced worn out switch on 2000 ML55 AMG with this inexpensive non-OEM switch. The action is just slightly less smooth than original OEM switch, which you'd only notice comparing this one directly to the original switch. Now that I've been using this replacement switch for a few weeks I would definitely recommend this to replace worn out OEM switch.

As you may know, the combined center console window switches module is the achilles heal of the early Mercedes ML series. My ML320 has got 233,000 + miles on it and this is my 7th switch replacement and my 3rd with this vendor. It will last for another 45K.

It works. Unfortunately, the big side mirror toggle in the center doesn't work well. It feels fragile and operation is not smooth or exact (I'm not talking about the actual side mirrors itself). I thought of sending it back but decided to see if I could tolerate it.

It doesn’t work quite as well as the original. One window the auto down works the other window it doesn’t, etc. However they all do go up and down and it looks good. For what I paid it’s hard to beat ....

So far so good. I was told these need to b replaced more often then other parts on a Mercedes. And this is my second one within 2 yrs. It seems the driver side is the only one that goes out. I'm glad o found it at a reasonable price. The only very small thing is that the passenger side switch is not as bright as the others but other then that no complaints. It took about a week to receive from the time I ordered it but it seem like forever. Probably because my window was slightly down & I couldn't wait to get it.

Remanufactured parts are always a grab bag- I just bought some W163 door panel clips (cheap, ill-fitting, but NOT inexpensive). They looked good, but fit like a worn-out girlfriend. Didn't even "click", just slide in & out. Garbage.Then there is this part. I have no regrets whatsoever about this unit. First, it works. All of the switches do what they are supposed to do (4x up/down, auto-down, child lockout, rw def), and they also light up beautifully. If you have become accustomed to the typical Chinese instruction sheet (in 2 point font on a piece of paper the size of a business card, containing usually nonsensical but often hilarious instructions), I am sorry to disappoint you.My instruction sheet (sorry, I did the install months ago) was 8 1/2 x 11, just black and white copier paper, but the seller includes step-by-step photos and instructions.The part has worked reliably each time I have used it over the past fall & winter, and my experience is that electricals will work for years if they work then first few months, so I figure I'm likely out of the woods.And so far, I'm impressed!

This switch worked perfectly and fit perfectly.The ML430 is prone to switch failures, so it is great to have such a cost effective solution.It only takes about 20 minutes to replace the switch. You remove two screws in the bottom of the adjacent storage compartment. Then remove the compartment. Lift the dust cover by the gear shifter and then gently slide the trim holding the switch backward. At this point the switch is removed by releasing the retention clips. Nothing could be easier.The cables can not to plugged in wrong and reassembly is a breeze.I have 160 thousand miles and have replaces three with genuine Mercedes parts. I will be interested to see how long this one lasts since it cost about 30% of dealer cost.

Don't bother trying to repair one switch by exchanging them. I did that for my 2001 ML320 and it didn't last. Nothing worse than a window stuck down with a rain storm approaching.Just buy this, it'll take less than 30 minutes to switch out (including watching a YouTube video) and everything will be working again.

Not sure if this is supposed to be genuine oem Mercedes part, but I can't tell the difference. The witches look the same as the original. The connectors have a very snug fit. Very surprised how well its put together and only paid a quarter of the price. I tried to fix broken switch, but the switch is too loose. This will be my third switch in 13 years.

This was bought to replace a broken window switch for my parents 2001 ML320. You can tell it doesn't have the same tactile feel as an original MB part, but for the price, who cares? It works just as well and couldn't be any more happier.

This master switch works just great! Easy to install (approx. 20 to 30 minutes). Just remove 2 small screws at the bottom of the console arm rest box. YouTube has DIY easy install. videos. Great price!
