Fit was excellent. Back light seems slightly brighter orange than original. Tactile feeling is the same all around, including the auto down driver window switch. Interior plastic was blue on on the bottom instead of the original white. Cable harness fit perfectly.

I had to remove the weird fabric glued taping stuff to be able to mount this correctly in my 2005 subaru outback. Took about 15 minutes and was really annoying. Other than that, it works, but is definitely not the same quality. Wouldn't put it in a car I plan to have for a long time.

the "AUTO" button of the driver works only down. in order to close the window you have to hold the button, unlike the original.

Bought to use in a 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon after we had trouble with the drivers side window not wanting to always go up. It fit great after removing the door panel to install. When we bought the car the auto up didn’t work and it still doesn’t work with this switch but the auto down does. Over all we’re happy with it and saved money buying it here vs the parts store.

This is a simply excellent switch, can't even tell it apart from the original OEM switch. Replacement took less than an hour with the help of YouTube, couldn't have asked for a better product.

I was able to take apart my 2006 subaru outback remove and install the old/new parts and button up in about 15-20 minutes. The part feels slightly stiffer than the original part I removed, and works fantastic.

The product is as described. Every aspect is an exact replica of the original part. Functionality is also as the original. Saving were significant over a dealer replacement. Total replacement time for me was 45 minutes and I am not a proficient mechanic. Watched a Youtube video I found on line and it made the replacement straightforward with no unexpected hiccups.

Not sure why they have 2 different listings, one for legacy and one for legacy outback. Our legacy outback wagon worked fine with this switch. Direct swap, plugged right in and all functions worked. Hopefully lasts as long as the original.

the finish and color is a little bit off from the factory Subaru, but for the price (1/3 of the dealer price) you can't go wrong!
